Introduction and scope

This Cookie Policy describes the technologies used on the intarmour.com website (the “Site”), operated by Intarmour® di Simone Nogara, to store and read information. It constitutes the notice provided under Article 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Italian Data Protection Code), the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC and the Guidelines on the use of cookies and other tracking tools issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) on 10 June 2021, as well as Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

The Site uses storage technologies necessary for its operation and, only with the user’s prior consent, the Google Analytics 4 and HubSpot statistics tools, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Apollo.io website tracker. No statistical or advertising tool is activated before the user has given free, specific and informed consent.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user’s device (computer, tablet, smartphone) to store information between visits. They may be “first-party”, if set by the visited Site, or “third-party”, if set by a different domain.

Similar technologies — such as the browser’s local storage, pixels, tags and identifiers — perform comparable functions of storing or reading information on the device and are treated, for the purposes of this policy, in the same way as cookies. In particular, local storage lets the Site keep certain preferences directly in the browser, while pixels and tags let third-party providers detect certain interactions.

Depending on their purpose, these technologies are divided into technical (necessary) tools, which do not require consent, and profiling or third-party tools for statistical and advertising purposes, which are activated only after the user makes an explicit choice.

Technical and functional cookies (no consent required)

The following tools are strictly necessary to deliver the Site and to record the user’s preferences. They are not used for profiling purposes and are active regardless of consent, as they are essential to the Site’s operation.

• “intarmour-consent” — first-party local storage, Intarmour. Purpose: store the user’s cookie choice and avoid showing the banner on every visit. Duration: persistent, until the browser data is cleared manually.
• “intarmour-lang” — first-party local storage, Intarmour. Purpose: remember the preferred language (Italian or English). Duration: persistent, until the browser data is cleared manually.
• “__cf_bm” — third-party technical cookie, Cloudflare, Inc. Purpose: traffic management and distinguishing users from bots (bot management) to protect the security of the Site. Duration: approximately 30 minutes. Strictly necessary tool.
• “Cloudflare Turnstile” — third-party technology, Cloudflare, Inc., used in the Site’s forms for anti-bot verification (distinguishing human users from automated submissions). It may store or read temporary technical information on the device solely for security and spam-prevention purposes, with no profiling or advertising. Strictly necessary tool, not subject to consent.

Statistical / analytics cookies (consent required)

With the user’s consent, the Site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-Q9QJX89SBS), provided by Google Ireland Ltd, to produce aggregated statistics on how the Site is used. IP anonymisation is enabled and the script is loaded only after the user clicks “Accept”.

With the user’s consent, the Site also uses the HubSpot tracking code (Hub ID 148954986), provided by HubSpot Ireland Limited (HubSpot, Inc. group), to analyse visits and to link enquiries submitted through the contact forms to the corresponding contact. The script is loaded only after the user has consented to statistical cookies.

• “_ga” — third-party cookie, Google. Purpose: distinguish users by means of a unique identifier for statistical measurement. Duration: approximately 13 months.
• “_ga_<container>” — third-party cookie, Google. Purpose: keep the session state for the specific measurement property. Duration: approximately 13 months.
• “hubspotutk” — third-party cookie, HubSpot. Purpose: pseudonymously identify the visitor and link form submissions to the corresponding contact. Duration: approximately 6 months.
• “__hstc” — third-party cookie, HubSpot. Purpose: main analytics cookie; records the domain, the first- and last-visit timestamps and the number of sessions. Duration: approximately 6 months.
• “__hssc” — third-party cookie, HubSpot. Purpose: track sessions to determine whether the visit count should be updated. Duration: approximately 30 minutes.
• “__hssrc” — third-party cookie, HubSpot. Purpose: detect whether the user has restarted the browser, for session-management purposes. Duration: session (until the browser is closed).

Marketing / advertising cookies (consent required)

With the user’s consent, the Site uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag (partner ID 10527209), a cross-site analytics and advertising technology provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (Microsoft group). The tool measures campaign effectiveness and detects interactions for advertising purposes across different sites. The script is loaded only after consent.

With the user’s consent, the Site also uses the Apollo.io website tracker (app ID 6a6372d0054de9002057505b), provided by Apollo.io, an analytics and visitor-recognition technology for B2B sales and marketing purposes — for example, to identify the visiting company and interactions on the Site. The script is loaded only after consent to marketing cookies and may store or read identifiers on the device to link visits.

As part of its operation, the Apollo.io tracker may activate the identity-resolution service of LiveIntent (LiveIntent, Inc.), which enables cross-site recognition of visitors for marketing purposes. This tool too is activated only after consent to marketing cookies.

• “bcookie” — third-party cookie, LinkedIn. Purpose: browser identification for advertising and analytics features. Duration: approximately 1 year.
• “lidc” — third-party cookie, LinkedIn. Purpose: routing and data-centre selection. Duration: approximately 1 day.
• “li_gc” — third-party cookie, LinkedIn. Purpose: store the user’s consent regarding non-essential cookies. Duration: approximately 6 months.
• “UserMatchHistory” — third-party cookie, LinkedIn. Purpose: advertising identifier synchronisation (Ads ID syncing). Duration: approximately 30 days.
• “AnalyticsSyncHistory” — third-party cookie, LinkedIn. Purpose: store information on identifier synchronisation with other services. Duration: approximately 30 days.

Legal basis for processing

The technical and functional tools described above are processed on the basis of their necessity to deliver the service requested by the user and, for the security component, of the operator’s legitimate interest in ensuring the integrity and security of the Site (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR); no consent is required for them under Article 122 of the Italian Data Protection Code.

The statistical (Google Analytics 4 and HubSpot) and marketing (LinkedIn Insight Tag) tools are processed solely on the basis of the user’s consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 122 of the Italian Data Protection Code). Consent is optional, may be given per category and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Managing and withdrawing consent

On the first visit a banner lets the user accept or reject statistical and marketing cookies, with a preferences modal that allows a choice per individual category. The Site uses Google Consent Mode v2: by default any storage for statistical or advertising purposes is denied (default “denied”) and is authorised only if the user gives consent.

The choice is stored in the browser’s local storage (the “intarmour-consent” entry) and can be changed at any time via the “Preferenze cookie / Cookie preferences” link in the Site’s footer, which reopens the preferences modal. Alternatively, consent can be withdrawn by clearing the Site’s browsing data (local storage and cookies): the banner will reappear on the next visit.

The user may also manage or delete cookies through the browser settings, which generally allow blocking all cookies, deleting existing ones or receiving a warning before they are set. Blocking the technical and functional tools may, however, impair some features of the Site.

Transfers to third countries

Enabling Google Analytics 4, HubSpot, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and Cloudflare’s network services may involve the transfer of personal data to the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers take place under appropriate safeguards pursuant to Chapter V of the GDPR, namely the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission and, where applicable, the providers’ certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Third-party cookies and providers’ notices

Third-party cookies and tools are managed by the respective providers in accordance with their own notices, to which reference should be made for full details of purposes and processing arrangements and for exercising rights against them.

Changes to this policy

This Cookie Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the tools used, in regulatory requirements or in the guidance of the Garante. The version in force is the one published on the Site, showing the date of last update stated at the top. Users are invited to review it periodically.
